Consciousness and Living
We hear the word consciousness a lot these days from the evolution of humanity’s thinking and being, to understanding the mind and more importantly about understanding ourselves. Consciousness is deeply personal and universally human.
Consciousness refers to our subjective experience of the world. It encompasses our external awareness of sights and sounds to internal states of thoughts, emotions, and sensations. We experience the world with rich perceptions and feelings. When we sleep this awareness fades. Sometimes we are consciously asleep even though we are awake and aware. We allow ourselves to exist without really participating. This process keeps us and generations in a cycle of existence without experiencing living to our fullness.
Spiritual consciousness is knowing what we know or noticing our existence and the relationship to the thoughts held in our minds and objectified. A sense of Oneness with all that exists.
Sense consciousness is the mental state formed from believing and acting through our senses. We tend to attach ourselves to our thoughts. We develop a shadow side which can lead to patterns of beliefs that may or may not be true and yet we live as if they are true. Another term for sense consciousness is material consciousness. The belief in the material things in life instead of the Oneness or Omnipresence of Good. The material consciousness is limited and has no permanent existence. It is the cycle of poverty or lack of consciousness.
In Truth, the universe has enough for all people to live a life of joy, filled with unlimited possibilities. When we begin to look and work through our shadow thoughts of limitation. We look at the world and form a different perspective of potential. We can tap into and manifest the life we want to live.
Every day we learn more about the processes in the brain and the perception of our experiences. Understanding consciousness is crucial because it can reshape our understanding of being human. It can help us understand issues, like mental health, ethics, and free will. It delves into our self-identity, life, and death.
Take time to look at your life. Are you existing or are you living out loud, pushing beyond your comfort zone to transform your thinking and expanding you? The Oneness of you is a part of the whole universe and is waiting for you. Watch your thoughts and create the qualities you want in your life. Write them down. When the shadow or negative self-talk shows up rewrite your story. Heal the inner child and be at peace today and always. Happy Holidays.
